Impressive setting with lovely grounds to explore and within easy reach of North Berwick and other coastal towns. All the staff were very helpful and efficient. Excellent food in the restaurant both at dinner and breakfast with an option to eat in the lounge area rather than the restaurant. The afternoon tea can be recommended.

The food was fantastic. Free room upgrade was appreciated. The staff were also fantastic, especially taking cases to and from the car but (see below) The garden was incredible.

Breakfast was very good, but a little slow in getting our tea, the gardens and surroundings were fabulous, it's clear that the gardeners take pride in what they do. Wish the bar area was a little bigger, it would seem there is plenty of space. Staff very helpful but felt that we could have been asked on being shown to our room if we wished a kettle and tea, I think these should be in the room without having to ask.

The staff couldn’t have been lovelier or more accommodating to us! The room was so comfortable and clean and had a nice luxurious feel. The breakfast was absolutely divine and it was such a special stay start to finish.

John and the team couldn’t make us more welcome. The hotel is in a beautiful setting and we had a room a short walk from the hotel entrance which worked perfectly for us and our little girl and our parents in the room opposite. The views from the breakfast / dining room are amazing - what a way to start the day!

The hotel is unique and lovely. Set in beautiful gardens, it overlooks the famous Muirfield Golf Course. Staff were great and breakfast was first class. My golfing friends and I had a wonderful time. Guests can enjoy a relaxing drink inside in the bar or the library; or outside in the garden or by the croquet lawn watching the golfers.

Location was excellent as i played golf at Muirfield that day. Great view of golf course from my caddie closet room! Breakfast was good with timely service

What a beautiful place! The gardens are stunning. The food was excellent. The location for golf is awesome. All the staff are lovely.
